"I don't take no stock of dead people. "
~ Huckleberry Finn ~
This must be Kathryn's favorite quote. She says it everytime I ask, "So, what did you think about what we just read? " It always makes me laugh. But, if the truth was told. . . this is the way we spend most of our days: reading, writing. . . learning about the classics ~ taking stock in dead people.
Great photo! The classics...they never get old :)
ReplyDeleteI had to come by and tell you this..last evening I began home tutoring my kids the Indian curriculum since we will be returning in another year back home. So to prepare them for the transition, they need to be in par with the academics back home. In 5 minutes all hell broke loose and I was left wondering how do Mom's home school??? Seriously, how do you keep yourself sane?? :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteI am reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn myself this week. One of the golden oldies I never got to before this. It came already loaded on my new Kobo Reader.

My husband is used to doing things by the book when he was still in the Navy. Great choice for B.
